Yael has been a popular Australian actor best known as the actress who played Lorna as well as Morello and Peretta in Orange Is the New Black. She also played Dora Lumley at Picnic at Hanging Rock. Other roles she has played comprise Spirited High Maintenance Deep Water Penn Zero Part-Time Hero The Wilde Wedding. Her work is also renowned as a vocal advocate for women's issues and for her support of environmental protection and rights to abortion. Balmain Public was the school which she completed her education. Following her graduation from Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, and The National Institute of Dramatic Art in New South Wales Australia she attended the National Institute of Dramatic Art.
