Molly was born in Pennsylvania and started to perform professionally as a teenager at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her debut professional show was The Snow Queen. The following year she was cast as Little Red Ridinghood in the Arden Theater s production of Into the Woods for which she was nominated to win a Barrymore Award. The role was reprised in her Broadway debut at 15 in the production of Into the Woods, on Broadway. The show was nominated as one of the nominees for a Drama League Award. Molly was in the Broadway revival Fiddler on the Roof (2004). After that, she went to Princeton University and was a part of Princeton's Triangle Club. She graduated with a bachelor's degree the year 2008. Then she attended Princeton University, where she was a member of the Triangle Club and earned a Bachelor's degree in 2008. at the time, Wendy Greenhut made her Disney College Road Trip debut. Molly has performed several Off-Broadway shows, including End Days, at Ensemble Studio Theater. Additionally, she participated in TV programs like Royal Pains or an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly was in a variety of regional productions, including The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, at Barrington Stage Company, North Shore Music Theatre and Westport Country Playhouse's 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank. Molly played Anne. Molly is best known for her role as Ali the teenage daughter in Paranormal Activity 2, a 2010 film in which Jack Burditt wrote and directed the ABC comedy Last Man Standing starring Tim Allen.
